BENEFITS: No metabolic pathway proceeds in isolation so using an amino acid to alter one will alter others which cross it. Usually this is a good thing, but sometimes it can cause something equivalent to a metabolic traffic jam. Patients may tire easily and even feel worse than before they started on the supplement. To avoid this possibility it is best to take a blend of amino acids rather than a single amino acid.

USAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Take one level teaspoon (4 grams approx) two-four times daily, an hour before food, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS AND WARNINGS: Not to be used by: Phenylketonurics, those with MAO inhibitors (anti-depressants), those with pre-existing melanoma, children under 12, pregnant women or breast feeding mothers. May not be suitable for: schizophrenics, manic depressives and herpes sufferers. Those with high blood pressure should take this supplement after meals. Do not exceed the stated dose unless directed by a health care professional.
